The video on how to change a screen on a laptop similar to mine was very helpful. I took laptop apart, found part number of old screen, looked it up on the site, and found a compatible screen. Ordered screen, received quickly in great condition and it worked perfectly. Like the 3 year warranty.

We received the new screen for our netbook the next day, as requested, we watched a couple of how-to videos, and then with no prior experience fitted the new one! At the first attempt the connector wasn't quite in, but that was easily rectified. It's now good as new! We're so chuffed and now feel confident we could do the same again if needed.

Ordered genuine Dell-display HD+ for upgrade to 1600x900 despite may do not recommend this action. Dual-channel displaycable (required for HD+) from another shop. But display delivery took 10 days from ordering?! Well,,,, it was all waiting-time worth! VERY carefully packed, and originally LG-Philips panel inside (when i got it opened!) After replacement - a SUPERbright and crispyclear wider look was what i got :-) PS: The display type-modelnr. was not found by laptopscreen because of the upgrade, but investigation on the internet told me to switch to the GJ494 display... Good work.
